Psychotherapy
I apply a holistic approach in my therapy sessions, focusing on the unique needs of each individual and couple. By fostering a safe and supportive space, I encourage open communication and self-exploration, allowing you to gain deeper insights into your emotions and behaviors. I aim to empower individuals to cultivate resilience and develop effective coping strategies for life's challenges.

Healthy Relationships
I work with individuals to have overall healthy communication in personal and professional relationships. I provide coaching to couples who want to improve communication and decrease arguments and aggressive behaviors.
Healthy behaviors in intimate relationships are those that are respectful, supportive, and honest. Responsibilities are divided, and decisions are shared. Both people feel they can trust the other because each respects the other’s boundaries and they practice effective, open communication. Each person has their own healthy identity, takes care of themselves, and has a good support network outside of the relationship.

Communication skills are important for all relationships. Whether it be in your professional/work or personal life, effective communication skills can strengthen your connection with others.

Work Life Balance
I offer personalized care that caters to your unique goals and challenges.
It is possible to develop a healthy work life balance. Saying “no” when necessary, helps protect your time and energy, allowing you to prioritize what truly matters to you. Self-care involves taking intentional steps to nurture your physical, emotional, and mental health, ensuring you recharge and remain resilient. It's important to recognize achievements and practice self-compassion. Self-compassion helps overcome feelings of professional fraudulence. Healthy boundaries are essential for maintaining personal well-being and fostering healthy relationships.

Intimate Partner Violence
I provide guidance and support to those experiencing psychological, physical, and/or sexual abuse. We will develop ways you can stay safe. You are not alone.
The term “intimate partner violence” (IPV) describes any violent behavior including, but not limited to, physical or sexual violence, stalking and psychological aggression by a current or former intimate partner. It can occur in heterosexual or same-sex relationships and does not require a sexual intimacy or cohabitation. I want to emphasize IPV is not just physical. Coercive behavior is violent behavior. Coercive control involves threats, insults, humiliation, isolation, activity monitoring, financial control, pressured sex, removing autonomy, gaslighting, criticizing, and jealous behavior.

Self-Efficacy
I offer a safe space and focus our attention on all the difficult things you can do. You can boost your confidence and cultivate a positive mindset.
Chronic invalidation from physical, sexual, and psychological violence deteriorates people's sense of self efficacy and empowerment. This in turn reduces valued living and reduces confidence in one's ability to manage their health and healthcare needs, thereby resulting in reduced psychological well-being.

Anxiety Management
I assist individuals struggling with anxiety, providing tools and techniques to manage their symptoms and find the calm in their lives. I will work with you to develop skills to decrease feelings of worry and hopelessness and increase contentment.
Anxiety Management services offer a supportive and structured approach to help individuals navigate the challenges of anxiety. These services typically include personalized strategies, coping techniques, and therapeutic interventions designed to reduce anxiety symptoms and improve overall well-being.

Chronic Illness
My services are focused on supporting the mental well-being of those with chronic diseases, including helping them cope with the challenges of living with a long-term illness.
Creating a balanced mind while living with life-altering illness involves cultivating resilience and self-compassion. It is important to focus on what we can control, practice mindfulness, and seek support from friends, family, or support groups. It is beneficial to engage in activities that bring joy, even though it may look different than what it did before.

Depression Relief
I use evidence-based approaches to improve feelings like sadness, worthlessness, guilt and decrease sleep disturbances and irritability.
I provide compassionate counseling and support for individuals dealing with depression, helping them navigate their emotions and find inner peace. The relationship we have with ourselves impacts how we feel.

Caregiver Support
I offer a range of therapeutic interventions to help caregivers manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges related to their caregiving role.
Being a caregiver may be one of the hardest jobs a person can do. Learn how to communicate what you think and how you feel and build a connection with those you love.

Trauma Recovery
My services focuses on empowering trauma survivors to improve their communication skills. I offer techniques to enhance verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as strategies to improve listening and comprehension.
Trauma can significantly hinder our ability to communicate effectively, it may lead to feelings of anxiety, distrust, or withdrawal, making it difficult to express thoughts and emotions openly. Individuals who have experienced trauma might struggle with active listening or responding appropriately, often feeling overwhelmed in conversations.
Understanding these impacts is crucial for fostering healthier communication and building stronger connections with loved ones.
